Pink Motorola Razr to iPhone?

Hello Everybody.

So, I have a delema here with cellular phones.

Currently I have a Pink Motorola Razr. I got this at the beginning of February this year. I have found it to be an awful phone. I have lots of incoming calls and I make lots of outgoing calls. Its hard to find in a purse and has no convient features whatsoever. I have researched the new iPhone 3G and I believe that it would be ideal for me. Its thin but takes up some space, it has easy and quick access to the web and has a reduced amount of damage due to its minnimal hardware ( there is only a screen that could break, that a hinge, key etc...)

The problem is- I cannot get an upgrade for another two years, and at this rate I don't think I can wait that long.

What I'm asking is your expieriences *good or bad* with the iPhone and if you think its worth an investment to go under my upgrade contract for a better phone.

i think you should stay with the RAZR.

1) because the iphone 3g has many problems, such as bad reception and app store crashing phone

2)you are required  to get a data plan, and if you text, it is extra unlike original iphone

3)if you drop the phone and crack the screen, your screwed because they are hard to replace and you have to be really good with technology.

if you still need one, you only have to wait one year, six months. it's a secret that not everybody knows but they tell you if you ask. someone said it has to do with security reasons

I'm on my iPhone 3g right now. It's not the best phone for making calls, if you put it up to your head it presses all sorts of buttons and sometimes hangs up your call. It's kind of big to hold in your hand. The screen is pretty delicate and if it cracks it can't be fixed. Lastly the Internet is pretty slow unless you have a super good conection.

Also, it has the worst battery. Sometimes it can last 12 hours, if you don't use the iPod.

Other then that I am fully happy with my purchase.  It is a bit expensive monthly though.
