Pink Pearl 8130?

Question

My gf wants one so bad for our anniversary...couple questions....

1. an unlocked pearl from verizon...i know they are on diff networks but will it work on at&t if it unlocked?

2. if that is not possible, are the keyboards for the tmobile 8100 and the verizon 8130 interchangable? i have a tmobile 8100 and am willing to unlock mine, send it to colorware and get it painted pink and give it to her, but she loves the pink keys too...lol

1. No, the Verizon phone does not use a SIM card and runs on a CDMA network. It is incompatible with AT&T.

2. That's a huge amount of messing with the keyboard and it will likely render either one or both of your warranties void. However, it depends on the keyboard and the keys associated. If they are absolutely identical, then it might be possible if you can find someone to do that.

You're a very selfless guy and that's sweet but I think this one might be just a tad out of reach, even if you are incredibly motivated. Show her this question and I'm sure she'd be thrilled that you're even trying. Sorry I do not bear better news.
