  2. My sisters wedding was just this weekend (well the ceremony was Thursday night and the reception was Saturday).  Their colours were pink, brown and light green.  (You could easily replace the green with more pink or brown).

I've put some photos on flickr of some of the decor/flowers for you to see what they did with the colour scheme. (My sister made all the flower arrangements herself).

    Good Luck!

  3. google pink and brown wedding, then click the images link and you'll see alot of different ideas.

    I love that color combo!

  4. how pretty!

    my ideas would be--

chocolate brown bridesmaid dresses w/ baby pink Gerber daisies.

if dresses have a sash- go for cream. brown/cream ribbons w/ flowers.

decor- simple/classic.  Cream tulle draped and tied at intervals with brown ribbon, pink daisy accents

cake- again i would go w/ cream, brown ribbon at the base of the tiers and pink daisies adorning the top w/ or w-o your topper and pink petals on the table.

invites- simple card style- brown pink design w/ plain pink overlay, brown type. Tie at top w/ cream ribbon.

centerpieces- there could be a ton of these, but the first one that pops in my head is a square vase filled w/ coffee beans w/ pink daisies. put one votive on each side of vase w/ cream candles. pink petals on table if you like.

I could probably go on and on, but these were the first things i thought of. I would be doing all this myself (as I am doing for my own wedding), and it wouldn't be that hard. It's fun, get your girlfriends together and be creative.

  5. You can go to the David's Bridal website and choose dresses and "create" your wedding and all of the items are available for purchase on David's website. It's really neat and simple to do.

I'm not really sure if pink, brown, and classic go in the same sentence because pink and brown weddings are more modern wedding color combinations. However, I wouldn't go overboard (trying to match everything), and I'd throw in some creams, beiges, khakis, or other neutral colors so you'll have more to work with.

  6. We did brown and pink -- loosely. Actually our unofficial theme was cherry blossoms, so thats why pink and brown. But I didnt necessarily stick to one shade, so its kind of hodge-podge. Here are some pictures for you:

Bridesmaids dresses were actually a latte color, but the light is weird here:
