Pioneer DEH-6700MP MP3 Hookup?

Question

So i connected my zune (MP3 player) to my DEH-6700MP. I connected using a normal auxillary cable. For some reason my head unit goes haywire everytime i try to use the zune. Also the music only comes quietly out of the passenger door even with the volume turned up.

Any Ideas why?

-make sure you turn up the volume to full on the zune

-make sure the auxiliary cable is not damaged(try replacing it)

other than that there will be no major damage
