Pioneer DEH - P5800mp mutes on its own. ?

I have a pioneer DEH - P5800mp in dash cd player. I hit a bump on the road and it automatically muted itself. Does anyone have any idea how un-mute it without disconnecting the battery? thanks

At the back of the CD player, there's a yellow wire with a black stripe. This is the "tel-mute" wire.  It's typically used with a hands-free phone kit to mute the CD player when you receive a call, but it will also mute the audio if the wire gets pinched or grounded.  Pull out the CD player and make sure the wire is well-insulated and not pinched, and your problem should be solved.
