Pioneer HDMI Reciever Question?

usually when watching a movie or tv, the reciever turns off automatically after 5-10 minutes. the Phase Control symbol blinks after that. I can turn it back on but it will do the same thing after another 5 minutes or so. What is going on? how do i fix this? i am very frustrated

how loud are you pushing that unit ?  it can be a few issues but i would want to find out what it is before it can really  mess things up if you just keep using it -  

if you play it very loud - it may be too much for your unit and it shuts itself down to protect it -  you can try staying lower for a while and see if that keeps happening -

but first - you should check all your cables - wires etc. -  can be  a short of some sort -  alot of times - cables and wires that are not correctly installed or just come lose over time etc.

those are the first things to check - - do you have the manual -  you can read that to see if it says anything about that - and what would cause it -

or it can be a more internal issue and may need repair -

i would check it out - dont want to ruin other items in your system -
