Question:

Pioneer Subwoofers at Wal-Mart?

Each of these subs is rated at 150W and 97dB sensitivity. I was planning on putting 2 of them in a sealed box all powered by the Pioneer GM7300 amp (800 Watt). How loud would these be, or at least for the money. It would cost me around $340, so I figure its an awesome deal regardless. If there is a better deal for the money, please let me know.

  1. it will depend on what you are putting them in. i have 2 10's & a sinaler amp in my 98 Gmc ex-cab it sounds pretty for the money.

  2. you can buy subs with higher wattage on  the internet for abou the same price. check out sonicelectronix.com

  3. if your getting them at wal-mart then you will blow them out in a week go to mobilone and get the right ones trust me spend the money you will be glad you did.

  4. Keep in mind that that amp has 800 watts of MAX power.  The RMS (continuous power) is only 360 or so.  Here are the specs.

A buddy of mine probably has the same setup.  I know its all Pioneer from our local Wal-Mart.  They can get pretty loud, probably cuz of that sensitivity.  I dunno how durable their subs are though.  If you're just lookin' for some ooomph close to home for not a lot of money its worth it.

  5. yes man get them no matter wereu get them at rember there pioneer
