Pioneer VSX-515 Output Question

Hi, I have a Pioneer VSX-515 and I was wondering is it possible to output only to certain speakers like back, front etc.

You can turn various speakers off and not have them function, or you can turn down the sound on any individual speaker by about 20 db so you won't hear them. I'm curious, why would you want to do this? The vast majority of the time the only speakers really working are the front speakers anyway and you would not want to loose the sound from either your left/right speakers or your center speaker which plays most of the dialog.
