has any one heard of this, what is its value in terms of $, what would u rate it as, 1-5, and i couldnt find it on there site, can anyone help?

Pioneer is a reputable company that makes decent equipment in their lower end lines. I would say it's a safe bet. If you want to compare, look at Yamaha systems in the same price range.
