Pioneer player won't eject CD.?

My friend has a Pioneer car CD player, and for no apparent reason it won't eject the CD that is in it (it was a new CD, not damaged or anything). We've tried everything to get it out. It makes a noise when you hit eject, but doesn' come out even partially. Any ideas?

  1. you could disconnect the battery for a few minute to reset it and then try, and if that does not work (while there is not power going to it) you could try some tweezers, or if its powered something that's not metal to get a grip on it and "pry" it out

  2. get new one.

  3. omg i think its like a bad make or sumthing becuz the same thing happenned to me! i was so ticked tht i took a louisville slugger and beat the c**p out of the cd player--i got the cd out but the damage i caused to the car was irrepairable so my advice is dont hit the car with a bat

  4. I have seen several pioneer cd players do that.they should of fixed this problem a long time ago.
