Pipe tobacco in cyprus?

Hello Going to Paphos in 6 weeks time is the pipe tobacco expensive there.

In May, this year, in Papatoniou Supermarket in Paphos, I paid -

31.59 euros for 200 Berkeley Superkings (3.16 euros for 20).

26.98 euros for 200 L&M Lights (2.70 euros for 20).

22.20 euros for 5 x 50gms Drum tobacco (4.44 euros per 50gm).

These prices are between 1 & 2 euros dearer than Spain for 200 cigarettes and about 0.50 cents dearer for a 50gm pouch of tobacco.   For Condor & St. Bruno, for example, I would expect you will pay around 4.80 euros for 50 gms.

So, for around £3.90 per 50 gms, you can see it's pretty cheap.   I would suggest you look around and compare prices as, unlike Spain, there is no Govt. supervision and many shops sell tobacco products.

Hi, I know that some cigarettes are a lot cheaper in the supermarkets, and cigars i know this because we bring a family member some back with us, Go to the larger supermarkets like Orphamedes, or Zenith and you will get tobacco and alcohol a lot cheaper than in the smaller supermarkets.  Hope you have a great stay in Paphos, i will be in Pernera (Protaras) in 9 weeks.
