  1. i reccomend putting 1 bag inside another so its stronger and also some bags will rip up the seams i would reiencforce it with somthing just a piece of plastic taped into a cone then slot it into the bag (make sure the tape it on the outside of the cone sit it doesnt come in contact with it good luck

    :)

  2. get a large freezer bag and cut the corner of to leave a small hole. You can then fill the back and use that.

  3. You can use any plastic bag (ziploc or otherwise) that you have. The thicker, the better (such as a freezer bag.) If you have no tip you'll just approximate the round tip by cutting off a corner. This works just fine, but gives you a bit less control than actul piping bags.

Where to purchase would be a kitchen supply store or a cake decorating store. Not being in the UK I can't give you a specific store name, and most cake decorating stores tend to be small mom-and-pop operations, not chains. Your choices there will be a sturdy re-usable bag, or a box of 10 disposable bags. Both are not really that expensive. You just need to decide how often you'll be decorating cupcakes!

    Good luck! Have fun!

  4. Most two dallor/junk stores have them, you can also get them at the supermarket sometimes. btw greaseproof doesnt work too well because it seeps out the side so yeh just use a freezer bag like teheother ppl mentioned

  5. just use a zip lock baggie or a baggie; after you put the frosting in it seal it shut with no air inside, and cut a small piece from one of the corners,  just point and squeeze, i do this alot, especially good for writing on cakes! good luck.

  6. Take a storage bag and fill it with icing a little hole at the bottom tip.

    try a local food store
