The Milanello legend has called time on his long and illustrious career and has taken up the Rossoneri on their coaching offer at the AC Milan youth academy.

The striker who is 38-years-old and will soon turn 39 was looking at other options before deciding to hang up his boots and pursue a new line of career.
When he was searching for a new club, Inzaghi was quoted to have said that he still felt that he had it in him to perform at the highest level. However, after further pondering, the striker has finally made his mind up.
Inzaghi went on to state that his story at Milan had ended in the best possible manner, as he scored in his last match for his beloved club. The former Juventus striker also went on to comment on his inspirations and his aspirations
at the coaching level. He singled out Carlo Ancelotti as a big inspiration and he dreams of winning the UEFA Champions League as a coach. He went on to state:
“Now I begin another dream, which is to be a Coach and hopefully win the Champions League one day. I try to base myself on Carlo Ancelotti and thank him for everything he did for me.”
Even though he had thought about plying his trade elsewhere, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 star went on to state that he could not play for any other club after playing for the San Siro outfit. He outlined that he had options as well; there
was interest in his services from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, with speculation linking him to Watford.
The coaching role sees him with the Rossoneri youth academy for two years. The striker also talked about his personal aspirations with the Nazionali outfit, and remarked:
“I signed a two-year contract and will coach the youth team, then I hope one day to lead the senior squad too. Meanwhile, it’d be wonderful to challenge my brother in an Allievi Nazionali match.”
