The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 waited three years to complete a dream move to Barcelona and Pique believes that his ‘friend’ is not planning to leave the Catalan club any time soon. While talking about Cesc’s situation at the club, Gerard Pique said, “United are wasting
their time. It took a long time for Cesc to get his dream move back home and he won’t give it up. This is home, it is where his family is, and he is playing with his closest friends. He has told us he is happy and that he intends to stay with Barcelona.”
The Spanish midfielder, Cesc Fabregas, is a player who can fit into any position in the midfield. He started off as a centre midfielder for La Blaugrana but eventually he became Lionel Messi’s replacement in the false 9 role as Josep Guardiola showed that
he had other plans for the midfielder.
However, after the departure of Josep Guardiola, Cesc Fabregas reverted to his favourite centre midfield position. He would either play in Andres Iniesta’s left attacking midfield role, or replace the likes of the legendary Spanish midfielder, Xavi Hernandez.
Many claimed that Cesc Fabregas would warm the bench if he was to join Barcelona, but this has definitely not been the case. The player has been getting a lot of time in the first team and right when he started playing for the club, he even managed to score
the winning goal in the most anticipated La Liga fixture, El Clasico.
Barcelona are not planning to sell the only player they have who can replace Xavi Hernandez in the future and are currently in the transfer market to sign a defender.
