The Catalans further hold a mammoth 13 point lead over arch rivals Real Madrid and this has come as a huge surprise to whole of the football world.
Real Madrid are the reigning champions of the league and have failed to put up a show this season, that could hand them a considerable chance to retain their La Liga crown.
Instead of Los Blancos, it has been Madrid’s cross town rivals Atletico Madrid, who have gone on to put up a title challenge against Barcelona.
However, following Barcelona recent 4-1 victory over Atletico, the title swing has firmly gone in to their favour and star defender Gerard Pique believes that it is time to celebrate.
The former Manchester united man however also admitted that things could change quickly in football and for that the Blaugranas will have to be very cautious.
“La Liga is only ours to lose," said Pique.
"We're in a very favourable position, but we cannot lose a game. If we relax, the danger is that we go into a run where we don't win two or three games and lose our advantage.”
"If we lose a game, nothing happens, but we cannot have a losing streak. We're having a great season. It's something else to watch my team-mates."
Pique further heaped praise on his team mates and insisted that his fellows are a treat to watch.

"[Falcao] is a great player - he's having a great season. He runs a lot, so you have to be wary. He's very difficult on the field."
