Pirate Board Game?

So I had a board game when I was younger. It was like a grid board so you could pretty much move anywhere on the board. I don't rememer the name of the game or even the objective... anyone know the game i'm thinking of?

Sounds like "Buccaneer".

This was originally released in 1938, although you probably have a 1970s or 1980s version.
