  1. Walk the Plank

    Spin the Rum Bottle

    Blind Pirate's Bluff

Really, child - 13?  Research a bunch of pirate history and play Trivia Pursuit, play Scrabble and only use pirate related words......Does Wii have a game for this yet??  No wenching at the sleepover................

  2. When you say Pirate and Princess Party, I assume you mean Pirate, Princess, and "R.C.P.D." Party.

    * Regarding Protocol, the Embassies involved will have a Member of Staff responsible for protocol i.e. seniority, titles and forms of address, who arrives first, etc.

    * Address them as "your Royal Highness" the first time you speak to them, and thereafter as "Mam".

    * Don't speak unless you are spoken too.

    * Keep your hands to yourself.

    * Remember to get plenty of Orange Juice around for the R.C.P.D.s (Royal Close Protection Details).

    * If you are domestic to any particular Monarchy, a very helpful discrete and experienced Officer from the Domestic Intelligence and Security Services will visit about a week before the party to review your security (e.g. MI5 or local Special Branch)

    * If you are a foreigner, expect your own Secret Services and representatives of the various Foreign Intelligence and Security Services (e.g. MI6) to visit to review security. These parties often end up having Diplomatic ramifications.

    * I hope you aren't too committed to a sleepover - some of the bodyguards might get an itchy trigger finger if anyone gets too familiar.

Don't be disappointed if your Pirate guests fail to pass their Security Vetting, and are excluded.
