Did we seriously just trade away Jason Bay? For real? What the h**l?! I am speechless. 2 weeks ago we had one of the best outfields in baseball..is dave littlefield and Cam bonifay still in the front office..My God!!

as a lifelong pirate fan the past 15 years have been extremely frustrating!!!!! Anytime the Pirates get a player who has any talent, they trade him for prospects, UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jason Bay is overrated. C'mon just look at his stats: a righty batting .190 against lefties, .216 w/ runners in scoring position. The Red Sox definitely got robbed.

You guys got back Andy LaRoche. The LaRoche bros will dominate the NL Central in the future like brotherly love.

I am a RED SOX fan and I am sorry but the Pirates just made a huge mistake of letting go of one of the best players they have had in a loooooonnnnnnngggggg time. And to only gain a few regular players in return. Not good. sorry

The only good thing is we got 6 players for 3 people and the Pirates are cutting the payroll again instead of improving themselves which has been the problem for 15 years

they had to jason bay wasn't going to sign with the pirates after this season so its better to get something than nothing
