Pirates of the Caribbean 4?

does anybody know if they are making the 4th one and when it comes out?

No... there isn't going to be a fourth installment of "Pirates."  When this screenplay was written, it was only for 3 scripts and meant as a Trilogy set like some of the other greater movies.  That is why they were filming # 3 RIGHT AFTER they finished # 2 so they could cut costs and keep the cast in Florida/Caribbean and have them make it before any of the stars bow out for demanding MORE MONEY.  They all had to sign contracts, cause no one knew the the second would play out in grosses/income wise.

No, as of now there are no plans for a "Pirates of the Caribbean" 4 movie.
