  1. Work on a stronger core. Also make sure you are spotting well. You may just be losing your balance because you aren't spotting on you last turn. Keep pushing for 4 in practice and make sure you keep your hips level when turning. Try practicing with a mirror that will help you see your form

  2. stay pushed into the ground while turning but lift your upper body. work on your balance and spot. keep your shoulders down. have a high pass too. also keep our shoulders and hips in line.

arabesque try stretching out your back more. try laying on the ground on your stomach with your legs staight and together then arch your back my pushign and straightening your arms.

  3. pirouette is really esy to fix

make ur spots sharper, and use your feet quicker in less steps.

try practicing on a straight line, (use tape or something) and do it everyday )

  4. Keep your stomach muscles tight. Spot.

Arabesques...pull your weight over your hips.

  5. Pirouette - think about pulling yourself up and using your ab muscles!!  Abs are crucial in turning so start working on your crunches.  Don't focus on the number of times you get around because then you start spinning and it does not look good at all.  Also, make sure you're grounded before you turn (I prefer to turn "SAB style" - SAB stands for School of American Ballet)  Also, I always pulled my triples and quadriples when I was relaxed and not even thinking about turning.  I know it sounds weird and is hard to do but relax and if you just think about like "floating" around I'm sure you will get your quads.

Arabesuqe - again, your stomach muscles are needed.  Imagine a loop of string is around your extended leg and opposite arm and is pulling your leg higher.  Because you are a guy, you do not need to worry about height so much as control.  Work on lower arabesques but gaining control and balance by holding your abs tight.  Hope this helps and keep dancing!!

  6. Your arabesque problems might mean that you have a weak back.

A exceries to fix it would be the following: lay flat on your tummywith your feet behind you and your arms behind your ears. Have someone hold your ankles so they won't come off the ground but be gentle. Using the strangthe of your back lift your chest of the ground.

The exceries is called back crunches and strangens your back muscles. We do it in my ballet class all the time.

    Good luck!!!!!!

  7. pirouette- well try to make your spots even and hold your core and pull up towards the end

Arabesque- um you ned to feel energy through your fingers and toes stay strong and hold your core tight!
