Pit Bull & A Kitten?

Hi i Have a Pit Bull Mix who is nice to some people but hates other animals. Its kind of weird because when we first got her she was in a pen surrounded by other dogs and stuff.

Now everytime she sees or hears other dogs her tail wags and she starts growling. My friend is giving away her 3 mo old cat & I wanted to know how I could introduce my dog to it & get my pit used to other animals.

PS: My dog stays in the garage so the cat would stay inside the house. However sometimes my dog tends to run inside the house when my sisters dont close the door right.:-//

what should i do??

If you can't guarantee a safe environment for this kitten please don't feel you have to take it. Also given the circumstances I'd not recommend it with your Pit.

If it were me, I wouldn't keep an aggressive dog with another animal. In my opinion, its not worth risking the life of the other animal. If you are really committed to making it work, and having both the cat and dog, you could contact a professional animal behaviorist and have them help you. That would be your best bet. And remember to never leave the two animals unsupervised together.
