Okay well, my sisters boyfriend has a pitbull/bulldog mix and soon me and my family are going to have to keep her for a bit. The dog is a joy but shes pretty rowdy, shes only a year old so shes still a pup..but a huuudge pup!

Well anyway, i have 2 ferret and 3 cats, and the dog is very good with them but since shes so powerful she scares the other animals. The dog is very ignorant and always pushes my animals to there last nerve, im scared that the animals will get to stressed and get sick.

So does anyone know of any good ways to make all the animals get along.

thanks for the help! =)

  1. I think it might help a lot for your dog to get a lot of exercise.  Two small walks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) and somewhere she can run freely at noon.

  2. The most stressful thing to ANY of them is to "make" them get along.

If the pit stresses your pets out, do the best thing for them and keep the dog away from your pets. Ferrets shouldn't be allowed near the dog anyway, ferrets have diseases that can be transferred to dogs, and dogs can carry parasites that can be given to ferrets. The cats should take care of themselves, they'll stay out of reach when the dog is there.

If you want to get your ferrets out, do so when the dog is either outside or in another room or his crate.
