  1. arm soreness is very normal after a day of work. you should be more clear about certain things, though.

how old are you? if you are not 16 yet you should not be throwing a curveball or a slider because your ligaments are not developed enough to take that much strain.

did you ice your arm? icing your arm can help bring down some soreness, and i recommend you do it if you havent already.

where does your arm hurt? usually my arm hurts in the indent on the other side of my elbow (where my arm bends). if that is where you are hurting then that is very normal. mine hurts every time i go out and throw for long periods of time.

are you over throwing? trying to go out and throwing you hardest ever throw will hurt your arm. dont try to throw hard, let the ball slide from your fingers and make sure you have a smooth delivery.

good luck with your arm and pitching!!

  2. Traditinally it is said that if your shoulder is hurting, then you are throwng incorecctly, if it hurts in your elbow it means that you are using your wrist and forearm more that just your shoulder and bicept which is healthier for you arm.

  3. depending on how you throw will show what your soreness is.  it doesnt matter if you are a lefty or righty.  what matters is your style, the pitches you are throwing, how hard you are throwing, the distance, how many pitches, and how often.  Injuries/Soreness can happen anywhere.
