Pitching Question/Mechanics

Ok, today I went to my pitching lesson, and the instructor filmed me so that I can see for myself what I'm doing right and wrong with my mechanics. He told me that if I wanted to, I should get a rig like his to film/view frame by frame my pitching. So, the problem is, he left in a hurry and he's taking a month long vacation, so I don't know what camera/rig do I need to film my pitching and view it frame by frame in nice quality? he said that his setup wasn't that expensive, so I'm thinking that it's not one of those super high speed cameras that are like 3,000 bucks a pop. So does anyone know what kind of camera/ whatever I should get?

Thanks!

  1. i have a digital camera with video that i use to analyze my mechanics. It gets 15 frames per second and works well. it was only $90 but worth around $170 :D

  2. You really don't need anything that shoots in High Def...just something that allows you to see your body angles, motions, speeds, etc...

You can get a relatively cheap camera and tri pod and set it up from different views.  Keep a steady schedule of recordings so you can see the differences and progress you're making.

  3. a good camra will work but u will have to go to a program an brake it down to frames i whould have to say ur moms camra an use windows movie maker
