  1. Show 'Em Some Red

    Make Them Like Red

    I Want Stanley

Red Storm Bout To Rain Red

    Stanley Don't Stutter

  2. Crazy talk. I wanted to see the team win. Hopefully next year. Football season is coming soon.

  3. wanting stanley makes no difference you have to go get the cup... so it really makes no difference at all...

  4. Every dog has its day.

  5. They did put up one great fight for it in the end. There is something to be said for never giving up.

  6. I also dispise the Red Wings. Everyone should. Sick and tired of them.

  7. Hi

WTF, "to never wanted Stanley". Dont you mean PLAYED FOR instead of wanted. If you never wanted Stanley's Cup then you probably wouldn't be interested in hockey.

    Thank You

  8. Ask Mats Sundin....woops..he never wanted Stanley.

  9. That is looser talk

  10. it was a memorable playoff run and one i wont forget.  the good thing is that the pens will be back and better than ever that is if they keep their core intact.  i think the pens will learn from their mistakes and hoist a cup in the near future.

  11. Of course it's better to have made it to the Finals and lost than to not make it to the finals.

    - 2nd Place is better than 3rd place, 4th place, etc.

    - the team has a young core of stars & is only going to get better

    - the team is only two years removed from being the dregs of the league: who can't be happy with the progress the team has made in such a short amount of time?

The Edmonton Oilers lost their first Stanley Cup finals before winning five of the next seven championships.  The Penguins have only just begun.

  12. I'm not a Pittsburg fan, but I am a PITTSBURGH fan...I still want the cup...and I have faith in the Pens that they will get it in one of the years to come.

I am still happy with the series though...both teams can be proud.

Edit:  Yes I'm happy with the series.  I'm proud they got as far as they did, I am sad that we didn't win, but I can still be proud of them.  Detroit is a great team and everyone said it was going to be a sweep and the Pens wouldn't win a game let alone win one at Joe.  So...yes...I'm happy we did'nt get sweeped, I'm happy they played...I'm not happy with Malkin though...and I am beyond pleased with Fleury.

  13. Pens fans have a lot to look foward to in the future.  They are going to be strong again next year and right now are my cup favorite.

    Hockeygirl: You suck :P

  14. Shut up with that "It's better to loved and lost than never to have loved at all" loser talk.  Also, "Pittsburg" is spelled Pittsburgh.

  15. Well... I like this saying. You have to lose some to win some. Sometimes, you have to know how it knows how to lose in the Stanley Cup Finals to later on win it. And plus, as you see I am a Penguin fan. I am not telling the Red Wings to F#^K off, am I? No, because the better team won the cup. It was a fantastic series, no doubt about it.

But Penguins will learn from this Stanley Cup finals loss... and use it for the next time they go to SC Finals. And also, the loss will make it sweeter for us when we win the Stanley Cup.

  16. I am glad we made it to the finals, as everyone witnessed experience is very important in hockey, and the experience will only help crosby and all the others next year and in all the years to come.

  17. It's losery talk to say you're happy with the series? Sorry your team has never been beat by a better team so you could never be happy that they stayed in the series. Either that or sorry you don't understand hockey and sportsmanship to understand being happy that your team played so good. Sure the Penguins lost the Stanley Cup to a Superior team, but we won the Atlantic Division and the Eastern Conference. We played the Cup to the final buzzer, after missing the first two games. Malkin finally showed up, if he had been there sooner maybe the team would have been better.
