Uhmm, that was a year ago.

But what's up with that?

I've never even heard about it, I've heard Pittsburgh might get an NBA team, but never anything about that. Haha.

But I just looked it up on google and found MORE stuff about them moving.......what's going on with that?

  1. Given that the city of Pittsburgh is building a new arena for the Penguins I doubt they're going anywhere.

The city of Kansas City has a new facility (the Sprint Centre?), and is desperately trying to find a tenant (I believe the arena is part of the AEG empire- who owns the LA Kings and has deep ties with the league).  Depending on which way the wind blows, if the group that owns Nashville cashes out (and with 'Boots' Del Baggio in deep trouble this isn't out of the realm of possibility), it would be an easy geographical move to put the Predators in KC, and would give St. Louis a geographical, in-state rival.

I'd say Pittsburgh is about 99.9% to stay put.

  2. nnnneeeeeeev eeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr

  3. as soon as they get enough fans to jump off the bandwagon there is alway talks of moving they suck and there franchise sucks.

  4. they were going to move a few years ago, pre crosby days, as they were selling no tickets, the arena was falling apart etc.

after they drafted crosby there seats havre sold out.  they are now even moving to a new arena shortly as construction is over half done.

    that info is just old.
