Pittsburgh Penguins coach Dan Bylsma not worried about Sidney Crosby’s condition –NHL offseason Update
Pittsburgh Penguins head coach, Dan Bylsma, probably did not do anything else throughout the whole week other than clear up the situation on whether team captain, Sidney Crosby, will be returning to action for either the summer camp or regular season. Bylsma
cleared everything up on Wednesday by saying that he will not inquire about Crosby’s health anymore since it is not a problem.
Ensuring Crosby fans that he is on the process to recovery and will eventually make a comeback, but also regarded it as something which could take time and is uncertain. Instead of keeping Sidney under pressure about his situation, Bylsma is trying nowadays
to change the topic and discuss other things besides how he is and when he is returning.
"Especially in the summertime, I try not to get involved in this type of, 'How are you feeling' conversation", Bylsma told NHL.com from the NHL Research, Development and Orientation Camp, where he's serving as a coach. "There are things I would normally
talk about with Sid and those are the captain's stuff like scheduling with the team. If I was to talk to him now, I wouldn't say, 'How do you feel today?' I would say, 'Where are you now?' I would ask, 'When are you coming to Pittsburgh?' I would ask, 'How
many fish did you catch up in Nova Scotia "?
Recent interviews with Pittsburgh Penguins general manager, Ray Shero, Crosby is once again facing problems regarding his recovery, which include reoccurring concussion symptoms, which if not dealt with properly right now, may cause harsher damage later
on.
The 24-year-old, also a former first overall pick during round-one of the 2005 National Hockey League (NHL) Entry Draft, Sidney Crosby, is certainly one of the most highly regarded players in the entire league and throughout the world. At such a young age,
Crosby has progressed by leaps and bound and continues to do so.
Injuries here and there have just slowed down his progression, but given his age, it is easy to expect a quick recovery and eventually a comeback onto the ice.
