Pittsburgh Penguins?

Question

Forward Pascal Dupuis - three-year // 1.5 Million (is believed to be his salary

Defenseman Mark Eaton - two-year // 2 million // (Canada's TSN reports his salary)

I'm sort of glad we're keeping Dupuis. =) & I knew we would keep Eaton, he'd sign for cheap because he hasn't played more than 75 games.

Thoughts? Comments?

I screamed when we signed Eaton. I didn't want him back. =/

The Pascal Dupuis signing was a great signing, but the Eaton signing, I'm not so sure about. I cant remember him playing a full season without an injury. Pittsburgh is taking a risk with Eaton but I love the Dupuis signing!

I like the fact that we resigned Dupuis, he is an underrated 2 way player.  

Eaton on the other hand, I obviously don't see what everyone else sees in him...probably b/c I never see him on the ice....

Now if we can just resign Ruutu today, I would call it a minor success.

I think I wish Shero wasn't so cheap, and paid for other guys we needed to keep, too. =/

I like Dupuis. wouldnt have minded seeing him in a Wings uniform. he was a key player for the pens in the playoffs last year.

shero has some type of connection with eaton. before shero came to the burgh, he and eaton were both with the nashville predators. shero likes his capabilites i guess. but like most, i don't see where he will fit on the penguins blueline.
