Pittsburgh Steelers LB James Harrison doubtful vs Denver Broncos – NFL News
Pittsburgh Steelers daring linebacker James Harrison has hit a sudden phase of uncertainty about his ability to be a part of the team for the season opener against the Denver Broncos this Sunday after missing a considerable amount of training over the past
two days.
James was limited in the team’s practice on Wednesday and missed the entire workout session on Thursday, giving births to doubts about him being hundred percent for the weekend game.
The LB has recently been taken off the physically unable to perform (PUP) list in spite of the fact that there were some rumours that his full recovery from the knee surgery was yet pending. The decision of making the player available straightaway was the
strategic one by the team to avoid his full season ousting under the previously implemented injury rules of the league.
Although the Steelers are yet to officially confirm the latest status of the player and exact reason behind his absence from practice for a full and a half day, some commentators have hinted the same knee problem is bothering the player and possibly he needs
some rest, especially if the team persists with his participation in the crucial opening game of the season.
According to some reports, the player had written a few words near the locker room indicating he would be answering all questions on Friday, although he did not mention any particular questions.
The reports also mentioned that the player has specifically picked Friday to talk about the unknown issues since media is expected to take an update on the team’s overall preparations on the day and it is likely that all the mainstream media outlets will
be there for coverage.
The hype created around the unpredictable talk has created an impression of major disclosure, but in reality the injury problems seem an obvious reason for the linebacker for media brief.
Some sections of media later picked up his Twitter posting indicating he will practise on Friday before confirming his status for the forthcoming game.
