Question:

Pizza Hut Employee question?

I'm thinking about getting a job at a Pizza Hut and was wondering about the cooking job. Once you make the pizzas and stuff, how do you give them to the waiters or waitresses? Do you call them out, put them in a certain place, or take them out to the tables yourself? Is there anything else a cook is expected to do other than cook?

Also, is there a certain person that washes the dishes or are all expected to contribute?

Thank you. Just trying to make sure I get a good job that I can be at all the time this summer :)

  1. In any job you should be prepared to do other positions than that of the job you accepted.  A cook may have to answer the phones and take orders or wash dishes.  You prepare the pizzas and the server will bring them to the table, there is a designated area for you to put the pizza, which the server brings pretty immediately to the table.

You can be successful at any job you take as long as you are willing to learn, be reliable, punctual, and work over when necessary, always do what is asked of you to the best of your ability and treat everyone the way you would want to be treated.  Have confidence in yourself always !! Have a great summer work experience and Good Luck!
