Today was my first day working at a Pizza place. One of the first things they told me to do was make the sauce. I proceed to put the tomato stuff in the bucket, then that powder stuff (garlic and whatever)... then they said add water. When I was going to start mixing it they said "oh no we use the arm here... wash your hand" I proceeded and started to mix the sauce with by putting my arm inside the bucket.

Is this common? i thought it was very unhygienic and I was like wtf man but didnt say a thing since the girl teaching me seemed for real with everything she explained. I wont be eating my own pizzas... has anyone done this before? i mean all the sweat and **** from ur arm stays in the sauce...

  1. Then there's the story about a guy on the road. It's hot, he's hungry and stops at a no-name burger joint. The cook is a large sweating and hairy man with wearing an over sized tank top.

He orders a cheese burger. The cook reaches his a dirty hand into a meat drawer pulling out a baseball sized nugget and puts it into his armpit, squishing it noisily into a burger shape.

The customer says, "Ugh, that's disgusting - the worst thing I've ever seen"!

The 'chef' says, "Hey that ain't so bad. You should see how we make our donuts"!

  2. I don't think the health inspectors would approve of that practice either.  If that gal wasn't a manager, I'd suggest you ask a manager!  If she is a manager, I'd find a different job fast and then call the health dept.!

  3. Thats disguisting! Where do you work. I won't be eating your resturants pizza >.<

  4. Yummy. I actually use my feet to mix mine..so....  Just kidding =) But seriously, where do you work???
