  1. I am training for a half marathon and I eat Pizza.  I wouldn't really worry about it! The person who said that you should train 6 days a week is wrong. You need to give your body more time to recover. Don't worry so much you will be fine!

  2. If you are running a half marathon you should be training 6 days a week. Its not bad, but don't eat it all the time.

  3. don t eat pixxa while running u can choke and u r no lossing any clarioes if u eat pizza and run basiclly no point if running

  4. lol lonelewolf is retarded.. i dnt train for half marathons but i do train for sprinting and i eat pizza all the time.. has a lot of carbs

  5. From my personal experience, when I raced Cross Country, if I ate pizza within two days of my 5K, I ran noticeably slower. I didn't feel good when running. I felt like I was tired and sluggish. I didn't have the best eating habits then. Now I eat a lot healthier and that alone has improved my stamina. I'm going to say stay away from pizza.

  6. It's best to stay away from pizza when training for a half-marathon.

If you want something heartier without being unhealthy, eat some lean meat (ham, turkey, and fish are good). If you just want a snack that isn't so light, try some nuts: almonds, peanuts, cashews, etc, preferably light on salt.

The night before, load up on some whole-grain bread and/or pasta.

Also, avoid food and drinks high in sugar and caffeine.

    Good luck!
