Pizza boxes?

Why do round pizzas come in square boxes?

Less time-consuming.

Because originally pizzas were round, and a round pizza is the easiest to make.

But, a round box is not that easy to make, or store, until used.  But square boxes are easy to make, and store, and use.

If the boxes were round, then the pizzas would have to be square !

And square pans cost too much, and square pizzas don't cook as well.

If it was round it wouldn't be a box now would it?   It would be a carton or sphere.
