Which is ultimately more efficient and cheaper? Getting a pizza delivered or just going out and ordering it and taking it home yourself?

Keep in mind cost of gas and delivery charges.

  1. It varies

Some places have free delivery, but remember you still have to pay a tip

The cost of gas varies based on how far away the parlor is.

To me though, delivery is cheaper because, to me time is money, and if I get it delivered i don't have to spend the time driving out to the shop to pick it up.

  2. pick up cause they charge for that

  3. papa murphys.

  4. depends on weather. if its snowy and gross they will charge more for delivery, however if its sunny and nice u might want to go get it

  5. well with both delivery and pick up you run the risk of some highs school freshman picking his nose just before putting black olives all over your pizza.

    Gas nearly $4.00 per gallon

At a cost of only $3.00-$400 per large pizza and a little time investment you could make them at home, control the toppings and freshness, and completely remove the high school freshman from the entire deal. That's Priceless.

  6. picking it up yourself how much gas can  you run up going to the local pizzeria

  7. Hm, I guess it really just depends how far you are from the pizza place. I prefer delivery any day, due to convienence.
