What?  You eat cheap and nasty delivered pizza over Christmas instead of proper food?

You can make a pizza with quality ingredents from scratch in about 40 minutes and eat it when it is fresh and delicious.  

So so why pay more money to be made to wait an hour to get some lukewarm soggy dough base covered with greasy, industrial food scraps?  

How do you know these people have even washed their hands?

You are obviously quite, quite mad!

I think all pizza places are busy during certain times.  They are usually courteous about this and let you know when you call, so that way you can either wait for it to be delivered or pick it up yourself.

Pizza Hut is very popular - and therefore their delivery system is always slow!

That's why I call in my order and pick it up myself!

True scenario

4:00pm Pizza ordered.

6:34pm Pizza arrives.

6:35pm pay for pizza and drink and doesn't give tip due to pizza taking forever.

6:36pm pizza boy gives me attitude for lowzy tip.

6:36pm I call pizza place and advise of the situation.

Again more attitude.

Well that's pretty much it except for a few hours of cross words and 2 cold pizzas. So that's how it is here.

I live 2 miles from a pizza hut and it takes them an hour to get to me during the festive season. I need to just go pick it up myself.

Always bad... but dont try to complain cause they will never resolve the issue!!!

Not to knock the U.S. (Im American) but that is the difference between service in the U.S. and Japan! Here in Japan, Pizza Hut takes about 25 minutes, sometimes less, and I live in a major city. And its not lack of popularity. Its just the standard of service is higher.

PS: No tipping here, either. So they have no personal incentive to hurry it up.
