  1. has your friend ever tried white pizza?

they sell it right alongside the regular most places, it has ricotta and mozzarella cheese on it, usually comes with broccoli or spinach as a topping. its pretty good!

  2. BBQ sauce or

    olive oil

put white sauce on it and thin slices of chicken   + if you dont wana make it, you can get frischita brand (name) in the frozen pizza aera (With mushrooms instead of chicken!)

  3. Good question.  I like it because it lets me share my favorite pizza in the whole world.  Here it is:

    Sauce: garlic butter

    Cheese: Monterey Jack

    Topping: shrimp

The more garlic-laden the garlic butter, the more your pizza tastes like Shrimp Scampi -- totally yummy.

    Enjoy your pizza!

  4. You can make a red onion/red bell pepper/redskin potato pizza with a delicious balsamic vinegar dressing. It was quite a challenge to make in in culinary school because we had to make the crust from scratch as well.

Now the bad news. I don't have the recipe any more. I know that will not make you happy but you have a great idea! What I do remember is that the onion and red bell peppers are julienned and sauteed/sweated down in olive oil with a little salt and pepper.

The red potato is boiled slightly then sliced to make up the base of the pizza on top of the crust.

Any good balsamic vinaigrette would be the perfect finish for the pizza after you assemble the peppers and onions on top of the potatoes.

Now you're the chef! Finish the dish and serve with a beautiful merlot or your favorite white wine ;-))

  5. You can use spinach.  Just buy a box of frozen spinach, thaw and drain it (let it thaw in a strainer and push it to drain it) and spread that over a pizza, then your toppings of choice (including cheese).

    Or alfredo sauce, Delicious.

  6. Try Alfredo sauce with chicken or a taco pizza.

  7. If your friend can tolerate b-b-q sauce then use that but a lot of b-b-q sauces have a ketchup/tomato base. So keep that in mind and check the label.

Use alfredo sauce, pesto etc... or even just a drizzle of olive oil and top with sliced onlines, chicken, marinateched artichoke hearts etc...

Or make a taco pizza. Use refried beans as the "sauce" and add some hamburger and cheese. Top with chopped onions, olives, lettuce, and sour cream and guac (without tomatoes).

  8. What you are looking for is called a white pizza.

Go to any pizza place & inquire about it.  It's Delicious and does not have any tomatoes or sauce.  Better yet why don't you buy a small pizza & enjoy!  Also called a garlic pizza.

  9. This creamy white pizza sauce recipe has long been a favorite on pasta, but it's one of the best things to happen to pizza in a long time.

    1/4 cup butter

    3 cloves garlic, minced

    1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

    1/2 cup heavy cream

    Pinch of salt and pepper

Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté for 2 or 3 minutes. Stir in the cheese, cream, salt and pepper and heat through, stirring constantly. Remove from heat

  11. You don't have to use sauce at all if your friend doesn't mind. Try topping the pizza with ricotta, feta, and/or mozzarella cheese. Also, sprinkle it with garlic or garlic powder. It's delicious!

  12. You can use anything as a sauce for pizza..

White sauce - like an alfredo sauce

    BBQ sauce

You can even just use olive oil (sort of like a foccacia)

    or

    No sauce at all.

  13. White pizza with mozzarella and ricotta cheese.

  14. roll your dough out and put olive oil on top, chopped cooked spinach, grated parmesan cheese, garlic, sausage or any meat... or anything else you like on it, my nana used to make white pizza all the time. i like mine with anchovies...
