The Deportivo La Coruna striker wants Jose Luis Oltra’s charges to follow Getafe and Sevilla’s example to dismantle their much fancied rivals over the weekend.
Real Madrid’s start to 2012/13 La Liga campaign has been of ups and downs so far. The Capital club have two victories, a draw and two defeats against their names so far in the season, trailing runaway leaders http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 by eight points after only five league
outings.
Jose Mourinho will lead his men on the pitch against Deportivo La Coruna at the Santiago Bernabeu over the weekend, with their rivals in high spirits following their return to Spanish top flight football.
The Riazor based entity suffered their only defeat of the new campaign at the hands of Sevilla but are optimistic about their chances against Los Blancos.
Ahead of the much anticipated league fixture, striker Pizzi revealed that Jose Luis Oltra’s charges will take heed from the precedent set by Getafe and Sevilla to get a positive result against Real Madrid.
“Getafe and Sevilla, who have beaten Real Madrid, help us to know that we too can win,” Pizzi commented.
While a victory will be a perfect result at the Bernabeu, Pizzi shared that Deportivo will be happy with a draw.
He added that the visitors will have to be enthusiastic for the match as playing Real Madrid is always special.
The much travelled striker pointed towards the glittering stars who will line up for Los Blancos to state that it will be an interesting fixture. Pizzi remarked that it would be nice to play against compatriots http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734 and Coentrao, but claimed that they
will not be friends on the football turf.
“We have to approach the game with enthusiasm and excitement. A draw at the Bernabeu is good for any team, but our intention in every game is to win.”
“For every player facing Real is a special game, whilst it is always significant and good to play against compatriots and especially Cristiano [Ronaldo] and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabio-c13152 [Coentrao], they are very good and are doing well in Madrid, but they are not friends. We have
to play well and win.”
