  1. You have to load the tones into the Windows , Tones directory. HTC has some great answers as does the Imate-Jam website as well. You can go to any of the HTC "makes" and get details.

It's more an issue of the version of Windows Mobile you are using and the software that came with the PDA. You can always get third party stuff that lets you change everything imaginable. You  need to help the helpers out by giving much more information. Again, what version of windows mobile? If you fail on that, do you want to look at third party applications for clocks and alarms?

Anyhow it's quite do-able---just need to put the tones where they belong and that's never intuitive. I keep notes on all the configs I've done over the years with an IMATE JAM. In the end I keep the thing down to it's original use---Calendar, Mobile Windows Apps, ring tones for phone and alarms, and then camera and I don't do movies on it as it's just too tiny--but it CAN!. Makes a great MP3 player too. I love all in ones. I've wanted the touch for a while........

  2. It won,t play mp3 as sms .

You have to convert them to wma or wav files.

Then put them in the windows folder then they will show up in the list.

If you do make sure you keep them  short .

When they start playing they play all the way through and won't stop .
