ok so my psp got wet. so i followed the answers on yahoo and i took out the battery and the umd and opened those so the psp could air out 4 like 6 days. it still didnt work. so i tried buying a new battery and charged it, still dosn't work. I made sure that while it charged the WLAN switch wasn't on. For the 3rd time, no worky. So what should I do? Is there anywhere I can get it fixed in Chicago that is good and trustworthy. If anyone can, can u find a store that I can drop it off too instead of sending into the mail and possibly never it being returned. but if u can't thats fine but I need answers ASAP cuz i kinda want it for vacation and I'm leaving on Sunday. Thnx a lot!!!

  1. Usually when electronics get wet, their circuit board fries and malfunctions in some weird ways. Check to see if you have insurance on it and if you do then claim it. If not you may have a warranty still (depending on how new it is), but usually warranties specifically say that they do not cover liquid damage. The next best thing after this is taking it to a PSP doctor. You can usually find these by searching for a PSP fixer on Google.
