Question:

Place desktop icons in middle of screen?

I used to be able to pull an icon into the middle of my desktop, to make it more visible and remind me to do something. Now, when I try to drag it, it wants to keep it on the left side and will only move up or down by row. Where in the world is the setting for that? How can I fix it so I can move my icons all over my desktop if I want to?
