Question:

Place for teens to go if kicked out?

A friend of mine told me that there were halfway houses, as he called it, for if you're kicked out. They're apparently for teens, and you can stay there for free?

Not sure how to google it, because halfway house brings up rehab centers and such... which is obviously not what I'm looking for?

Thankss

  1. It depends on your area, state and county.

Look up resources in your area. You can also try calling the runaway hot line. Even though you have not ran away, they may have an agency they can refer you too.

If your area has an agency like the Child Protective Agency, they can also give you information.

This is probably a good link to start with

    Also, try the links below.

  2. Haha! Wow LOL!

  3. Google women's shelters, or go to your local social services office, on monday, and they can help. You can google that too, but unfortunately there aren't 2 many options law-wise at your age, mostly they will work extra hard 2 send you back home because you're legally your parent's responsibility until 17, and  your legal at 18...

  4. Try "teen crisis shelter" or "shelter for runaway teens."

I hope this is for a school project, and that you're not in need of their services.

  5. You'd go in a foster home if your under eighteen.

You can't just live on the streets, promise.

  6. Ask some people at there doors or find a hospital even!  Maybe a police station!  They'll help you out.

    Hope this helps.

Seriously because I'm not sure if I comprehended this message right!

    HA HA! :D
