Place to live in toronto for students !?

Question

Hey ya All !!! i would be comming to toronto in a month so the main problem i think i would be facing will be accomodation .As i am a student can any one tell me a site for where i can find a place for rent for months .. or a hostel .. i would be able to pay almost 350$ to 400$ max . Any ideas where to crash !! and yeah it can be any where unless there is a subway station near by !

You might want to check out places for rent on St. George street, as there are tonnes of students that rent around that area and are often looking for rommates or they offer flats that have multi-rooms, etc for accomodation.  Living on St.George street will also help you be central in the downtown core and you will be able to  make friends on your age group as well.

$350-400 is not going to buy you much, though. You definitely will not be able to afford to live alone. You could probably find a room in an apartment in an area relatively close to campus but it will not be luxurious.

you should try and find a friend to live with or something. for $400 a month, you wont be able to afford to live alone probably, or the place that you'll be staying in won't be very nice at all. good luck! make many many calls looking for a room before you actually get here, dont get yourself stranded!
