I have a background of working with the civil and specifically the military intelligence agencies in INDIA for over 15 years.During my college studies the intelligence bug bit me and i delved straight into this field.Have solved cases.Do possess an intense analytical mind and am associate member of US int. associations like NMIA.Have authored a book entitled ''perceptual tools for military intelligence''and have specialised in web intelligence collection and applications.I desire to work as a counterterrorist agent and monetary benefits hold no attraction for me...i am satisfied with what is generally given as pay scale. It is my latent faculties i want to put to use and contribute,in however infinitesimal manner it may be,to global security.I have all my credentials and certificates .I earnestly look forward to any organization which will relax their criteria & recruit me

  1. You can log onto USAJobs and view the current listings over there. All the US federal agencies list positions available, criteria, job description, and points of contact. I didn't have very much luck just applying on line. Some agencies responded quickly. Others didn't respond while your package is being reviewed (which can be a long freakin' time).

If you don't mind the wait. Go that route. At least you'll see what's out there and hopefully get a contact you can use and show your credentials to. The FBI was pretty good in getting back to me and starting the selection process. The NSA was hit or miss. For the CIA, you'll have to go directly to their website.

    Good luck.

  2. they will not recruit you (in US)...you have to actually apply, and even though you feel overqualified, you will still have to undergo training...imagine that...

you might get another country to recruit you though. good luck!!!

  3. it depends if you want to be a field agent or a analyst.

counter-terrorism agencies in the U.S. usually recruit from current and former special forces (SEALS, Rangers etc.) for field agents, and an analyst would have to  be very highly qualified and have a clean record because of the sensitivity of the work, the DoD and FBI preform a level 1 check looking throughly through your history.

  4. Find an agency you'd like to work for and apply.
