Places to do a gig in sheffield(unsigned)?

im in a band , thats been together quite a while and have been thinking of trying to get a gig soon, but wer not signed yet so i just wondered if anyone knew any good places in sheffield for small starting up bands to play?

yeah, try..

the cremorne, london road, (google them), they will give you a gig without even hearing your tunes. good venue too.

plug - bit more tricky to get a gig there.

pomona, eccelsall road, sheffield. go to the pub and ask for the promoter.

west street live (on west street suprisingly)
