Places to eat in chicago?

Question

I've asked a few questions on here about chicago because i feel like word of mouth is usually the best advertising.

Going to be there Saturday all day. We are looking for a place to eat. We don't really want to do a chain resteraunt. And we're staying downtown, so i know the possibilities are endless.

What's your favorite place to eat in chicago? And Why?

9 - Randolph St

Gibsons - Rush St

Rosebud - Taylor St or Rush St

All 3 are great restaurants.

1. Los taquitos- mexican resturant 18th street near harrison park.

2. Chinatown- A big comunnity with lots of chinnese resturants.

3. Navy Pier- A landmark of chicago with many returants.  

4. Buffet City- A chinnese buffet south of the Midway airport.

5. Pizza Hut- Spreaded all over chicago.

If you're near downtown, there is a terrific breakfast/brunch place called Yolk just north of Roosevelt Avenue on Michigan.  My favorite Italian place is a bit north of downtown, but well worth the trip: RoseAngelis, just west of Wrightwood and Racine.
