Casual: try Oscars on Highway 17 toward north myrtle. Great sandwiches, wings etc and a very reasonable price.

Upscale: Umberto's at Barefoot Landing. Maybe the best restaurant I have eaten at in the area. And I have been going there for over 20 years. Umberto's has the best pork chops you will ever have. And dont get any appetizers, you wont be able to finish all the food they bring you. I personally like to eat in the bar. Every dinner comes with a tomato salad, pasta, and beans. You wont be disappointed.

Casual:Santa Fe Station is very good. You can eat in an old train car. Lots of fresh seafood, fairly priced in a very nice atmosphere.

One word of advise. I would stay away fromt the all you can eat Calabash style seafood restaurants.
