Since Boston is close to cape cod i'd figure I'd ask here. Does anyone know of any good places to eat on cape cod, especially a place with some good chowder?

  5. Have to agree with the first poster - The Lobster Pot in P'town.  Amazing food and you have to know they are good - I remember going to the Lobster Pot over 20 years ago and they were good then!  Good staying power...

  7. Chowder is easy to come by -- all the restaurants have it.

The  Dolphin Restaurant in Barnstable is excellent.  They have chowder and lobster rolls to die for. http://www.thedolphinrestaurant.com/

There is also a restaurant in Chatham at the Chatham Inn, and they have excellent chowder.

Some of the lobster shacks have good fish or clam chowder, too.

The Lobster Pot restaurant in Provincetown (if you're going that far out) has great chowder.
