Places to go in NYC?

I'm looking for a great place to eat n drink not that expensive it's my birthday and one of my best friends want to take me out it's pretty much a dinner around 5 because we have finals so nothing to crazy just a place wit great food n drinks r good too n cheap

If you're looking for great food and atmosphere, Yaffa's is the place to be. I love their outdoor area which is cozy and funky at the same time. I highly recommend any pasta dish as well as the chicken dijon. YUM. Very affordable.

Also me and my friends go to dallas bbq just off times square, the food is cheap and delish.

A great bar is the mean fiddler on 47th between 7th ad 8th av. its a great irish bar with loads of atmosphere and a botttle of bud is $2!

Central park is great! So Is Broadway and just for a radio city show blah! Lol Depends on when you come down here. I would not suggest New years or Christmas. Omg its horrible down here around Holidays New york is like the Center of the earth and a lot tourist roll here, Lol No offense.

the dinner pre fixe that they offer is a great deal, too - you get an appetizer, an entree, and dessert or tea for about $14.

lastly - try the mango pickle. seriously.

Piano Teacher is right about BBQ's. I prefer the one on 72nd and Central Park (it's a little more crowded though). Plus you can burn your calories in the park later. Don't try to steal the big margarita's BEWARE!!!!
