  1. I live in Scotland too, but Scottish summers aren't always promising! So just make sure you are prepared for whatever Scotland's weather brings!

I do recommend going camping at Loch Lomond. I think it's lovely mid July, and there's lots to do there.

Also why not go camping in Ayr, there's a beach and again plenty to do.

But anywhere in Scotland's country side is great to camp, just be careful and have a good time where ever you go!

  2. Head to lossiemouth

Elgin is nearby and you can visit my favourite place

    The Findhorn Foundation

    Check this link

    http://www.findhorn.org/index.php

visitors are very welcome ther is a shop and cafe and you can camp nearby

    the beach is fantastic

Anyways enjoy where ever you go.

  3. Ano your a girl and every girl I have met hates rough camping but for me its the best,Theres no loud drunks tripping over your wires and waking you up, If your out of sight or somewhere remote you can also have a decent bonfire (most campsites have stopped these now =() if you can get ur hands on a canoe and head over to loch lomand you can escape to one of the peaceful islands on the loch. The waters very cold so its kinda pointless taking your swimming stuff but theres plenty of islands you could explore and maybe move from one to another and camp at a different one each night.Midges are something to take in to consideration as well although when we went they didn't seem to be that much of a problem, but even if they were skin so soft is definitely one of the best defences lol

  4. come to balloch at loch lomond on 25 to27 july there is a folk festival has been running for years  it is great, also live at loch lomond the following weekend it is a great party place. thereis also some great campsites around that area.  have a safe camping experience.
