Places to hang in manhattan on weekday nights?

I'm spending the week in lower manhattan so I'm looking to know from all you locals the bars and clubs should I check out on weekday nights (looking for things to do on nights of wed though fri). I'm looking for places where mid 20's to early 30's hang. And maybe a good place where NYU students go?

Yeah, just mill around Washington Square Park on 4th Street, you will find what you're looking for. Those are all NYU bars. In particular you might want to try Off the Wagon at Bleecker and MacDougal. Around the corner is a place called 1849. Other good downtown bars are Biddy's at Murray and Church and Brass Monkey 12th and 10th Ave.
